Georgie Awards 2026 Finalists Announced

We’re honoured to share that our team at Sarah Gallop Design Inc. (SGDI) has been named a nine-time finalist at the 2026 CHBA-BC Georgie Awards for our new and renovated homes in Delta, North Vancouver, and Anmore.

These nine nominations recognize a wide range of our residential work completed over the past few years, including custom homes, renovations, kitchens, and landscapes. Several of the finalist projects are located here in Delta, BC, alongside work across the Lower Mainland. Each project reflects a different site, set of priorities, and collaboration, but all share a common focus on thoughtful design, longevity, and livability.

Georgie Awards Finalist Projects Nominations:

In collaboration with Kemp Construction Management Ltd., we were named finalists for Jewel on the Bluff, recognized in the Best Custom Home category ($6M–$10M). Set into a dramatic hillside, this coastal home balances sculptural modern architecture with interiors that feel calm, layered, and connected to the surrounding landscape. The design carefully negotiates scale and exposure, creating a home that feels both expansive and grounded.

Our work on Komorebi, also completed with Kemp Construction Management Ltd., was named a finalist for Best Single-Family Kitchen (over $200,000). Drawing inspiration from mid-century design principles, the home emphasizes natural light, proportion, and material restraint. The result is a kitchen that feels integrated into the home rather than set apart from it.

We were also honoured to see The Lodge recognized as a finalist for Best Single-Family Residential Renovation (over $1.5M). This project involved a thoughtful rebuild of a long-term family home, reimagined to support how the homeowners live today while remaining adaptable for years to come. Comfort, clarity, and durability guided every design decision.

Take a Look at Me Now, completed with Finnish Builders Inc., received two finalist nominations: Best Single-Family Residential Renovation ($450,000–$750,000) and Best Kitchen Renovation (under $200,000). Contemporary and Scandinavian Modern influences come together to create open, light-filled spaces that feel warm, practical, and well-suited to everyday living.

Renovations and Custom Homes across BC Lower Mainland

Our 2026 Georgie Awards recognition also includes several projects beyond Delta.

In North Vancouver, The Gabled Haven, completed with Smithwood Builders Inc., was named a finalist for Best Single-Family Residential Renovation ($450,000–$750,000). This project focused on preserving the home’s charm while improving flow, function, and connection to the surrounding landscape.

We were also named finalists for Cedar & Stone, a custom home completed with Corecraft Construction Ltd. and recognized in the Best Custom Home category ($2M–$3M). Strong modern lines, natural materials, and expansive glazing work together to create a home that responds directly to its forested setting.

Associate Recognition for Landscape Design across Integrated Architecture, Interiors, and Outdoor Spaces

Landscape design plays a critical role in how our projects are experienced, and we were pleased to see both Jewel on the Bluff and Komorebi named finalists for Best Landscape.

These projects were completed in collaboration with Watermark Gardens and our builder partners, reinforcing the importance of integrated design across architecture, interiors, and outdoor spaces.

The Georgie Awards Recognize Residential Design and Construction Projects across British Columbia

Being named a finalist nine times reflects the collaborative nature of our work. These projects are the result of close partnerships with clients, builders, landscape designers, consultants, and skilled tradespeople, all working toward a shared goal.

We’re also proud to be part of a strong Delta building community and to see other local companies recognized among the 2026 Georgie Awards finalists.
