Great Expectations

A transformative renovation project emerged from the aftermath of a flood that devastated the kitchen, leading to a scope expansion of adjoining areas for seamless flooring. Confronted with a dimly-lit kitchen and an unwieldy 18-foot island, the goal was to craft a luminous, functional space. The renovation resulted in dual islands, transforming the kitchen into a multifunctional hub catering to culinary endeavors, social gatherings, and a welcoming workspace. A new home office with charming wallpaper and custom millwork was created, while dated fireplace aesthetics in the family room were revamped with the addition of built-ins to address storage deficiencies.
