This unique and charming custom home was designed with tremendous attention to detail paid both to how the family will live within it, as well as their personal aesthetic preferences. A warm natural mid-century interior creates the perfect backdrop for entertaining or quieter time spent together on weekends and evenings. Crisp white surfaces and sage tone millwork create a connected kitchen backdrop that feels fresh and youthful within the main living space. Warm wood accents at fireplace surround and built-in workstation coordinate with the kitchen to make a casually sophisticated design statement. Various surface applications of colourful ceramic and terrazzo tile on walls and floors lend playful punches of intrigue and whimsy throughout the home. The minimalist exterior retains modern simplicity, its black vertically clad facade making a unique impact to the streetscape, without ever feeling obtrusive or heavy.
