Surrey Home in Progress

This beautiful 2-level home was designed for a wonderful family already residing in the area of Ocean Park. The existing home on this property was in disrepair, and required may upgrades. The layout of the home was drastically changed allowing for better connectivity with the outdoors. With great bones, the home was worth saving and renovation diverting much waste from our landfills. High efficiency upgrades to mechanical systems and air tightness were also a great consideration. After this significant renovation, the home will be as good as new. A wonderful property with a gorgeous home that will suit this family for years to come! Design of this home was complex and included coordination with surveyor, arborist, structural engineer, geotechnical engineer and an Energy Consultant. Careful consideration of the slope on the property was required given the property falls in the Steep Slope Development permit area. Coordination of consultants and application and approval of Development and Building permit were all done by SGDI. This home is being built by Ranj Gill and the team from Monolith Design Build, a well respected and quality builder, who also happens to lives just minutes away.
