Bath Bomb
A bright heavenly spa-like retreat is created from the overhaul of a dated boring bathroom in this Burnaby home. Upon entrance the white walls and floating vanity plunked atop its treed view give the space a lofty ‘in-the-clouds’ feeling. The brightened bathroom feels much larger, despite the tub and shower actually being enlarged within the room’s retained square footage. A glass shower enclosure allows for unobstructed sightlines, providing a luxurious atmosphere. The existing corner view windows are optimized in the new design, the glass shower allows the view to be captured on entry, and a platform raises the tub to take in the sights as well. New vertical cabinets provide more convenient access to increase storage, while reducing clutter. And while the floating vanity retains the airy feel, it provides ample storage for fluffy towels… until they are ready to be warmed in anticipation of a lavish soak in the big deep tub.
