This 1960’s home was completely reconfigured to allow for open concept living. The kitchen and dining room locations were changed to facilitate the addition of a stained glass window in the kitchen and much more counter and cabinet space. A large walnut stained sapele island was included with seating for 3 and a serving counter. A recessed niche was designed for behind the range and an accent marble mosaic was installed.
The upper floor was reconfigured to convert an unused bedroom into a large walk in closet for this couple. No space was left untouched. An old family home transformed into a modern home for a great young family home for busy professionals.
The entire exterior front and back were renovated to give an updated look and landscaping was simplified for this busy couple. The backyard was transformed into an entertainers dream. A 600 sqft covered patio cover was added which includes a hot tub, built in BBQ area, dining table, seating area and commercial grade heaters for year round enjoyment.
What People Are Saying
Lawrence Green
"I was impressed not only by Sarah's design ability, but also with her level of construction knowledge. I have heard that a lot of designers are good at making things pretty, but are not that great at understanding how things are actually built- Sarah is fantastic at both. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I know without hesitation."
Diane and Vince Grdina

"We were immediately impressed with Sarah's ability to assess our needs and understand the type of home my wife and I wanted for us and our 3 boys. Her attention to detail is flawless and every inch of our fully renovated home is thoroughly thought through. I felt like they cared about our home as much as we the homeowners did."
